Rotor
by LadyStarscream

Rotor was written because LadyStarscream started to write more about Klutch, the blue Lotus (car), and needed a backstory for him. she wanted the character to be more than just an annoying Autobot who everybody loves to hate. So she wrote a backstory. It bugged her that he didn't actually have one, anyway. YRotor was created by a Decepticon technologist-turned-frontline fighter named Stance. Stance had been a technologist (scientist), but as the war accelerated, the Decepticons needed scientisits less and soldiers more. Stance wanted a creation to do stuff for him, carry on his work, whatever. Nobody's actually sure why Rotor was created.

Anyways, Rotor never seemed to learn the Decepticon ways, like fighting, target practice, and hand-to-hand combat abnd stuff. He always cared about others, and did't see what the big deal about being a 'tough-guy Decepticon' was all about. Which got him treated kinda roughly. Stance never had that parent/creation bond. He saw rotor as nothing more than a fighter or a drone. And it belonged to him. So when Stance's ship had a navigational malfunction and got pulled into the gravity field of a certain blue-green planet, Stance blamed his creation, Rotor, and bailed out in an escape pod, leaving the sparkling in the ship, the Vertix, to crash to Earth.

The Vertix crashed in the austrailian desert, and was found by the autobot Ribar, who was working closely with the human government, of the Euroupean continents. Ribar rebuilt Rotor, and had to erase his memory to ensure he never remembered being a Decepticon, or even his original creator. When Rotor was rebuilt, he was also upgraded and given a new form; A car, instead of a helicopter. He took the name Klutch, and is the blue Lotus elise Sport who appears in various fanfiction and RPG logs.
